And so it begins...

Well friends, I did it. 

I've finally decided to grace you all with my innermost thoughts and secrets... via Blogspot. I have to be honest. I've spent a few months now periodically checking in on a few of my friends' blogs, and I'm quite impressed that I'm friends with some modern-day Carrie Bradshaws. 

So now, it's my turn.

My turn to spill the beans and ruffle some feathers. Its my turn to question and provoke thought. Like my tagline says, "I'm just a girl with a lot to say"... and I'm not afraid to say it.

Now I can't promise that I'll be as eloquent as Carrie, or as well-spoken and organized as my friends, but I can promise that I will be honest. 100%. I've got a lot to say, and quite frankly, I think I'm ready to bite the bullet, kick off my spurs (forgive me, it's rodeo season), and just yell and scream and let loose and GO CRAZY... or at least as crazy as I can get behind the clicking of my keyboard. 

I named this blog "the zest for life." because aren't we all searching for some excitement and adventure in life? Wouldn't we all like to meet that man that will sweep you off your feet and take you on the adventure of a lifetime? Or travel the world with no aim in the world except to experience and live and breathe. I know I would. I would like a little more excitement in my life. "Zest", as per The American Heritage Dictionary, is defined as flavor or interest; spirited enjoyment; gusto. I know I could use some a lot of gusto in my life. It's easy to get sucked into the whirlpool of life and friends, and along the way, losing sight of your self and your own well-being. And friends, that is just not healthy.

So here we go on this wild adventure, to add a little spice to life - zest, if you please. I'm excited to see what kind of mischief we can get into together my friends.
